americaneurosbmlover66613 Exanimis made their debut quite recently, and have shown themselves to know how to balance the heaviness of death metal, the size and richness of composition in the symphonic context, and the technical know-how of progressive metal. Many symphonic death bands have difficulty with this, but Exanimis' debut has proven themselves, all while establishing a coherent identity and thematic arrangements. Truly an outstanding introduction! Favorite track: Cogs, Gears & Clockworks.
Poesy Rider

Poesy Rider Flamboyant ! Magistral !!! Favorite track: Cogs, Gears & Clockworks.

It, the one, awaken From the depths of my being Devourer, fugitive An insatiable hungry thing My instinct Takes over my reason Hidden in the most Secret recesses of my inner self Survivor Pale flesh, red dawn Surrender Phenomenon Scourged, ravaged I give way to my anger Now, no more man Untamed A wrathful beast Forced by the irascibility Of those who hunt me A deep hatred of hypocrisy That condemns me to this hell A portrait of perfection Reduced to nothing Breathless, an aroused torture Their fault, vociferating Scourged, ravaged I give way to my anger Now, no more man Untamed A wrathful beast

All hail the Monarch We’re part of an ark Our realm is invaded By those we haven’t defeated Betray your pontiff Banish your traitors Violate your chief Eviscerate your preys Crowns I wear, fall of fate Hold of my reign, full of hate My seat coveted Dominated Usurper of my empire Order and Law, Unbalance Throne of Thorns, conspire Privilege, Maleficence King or Tyrant, Similar Loss will be my devotion Treachery, cowards Beware, behind Usurper of my empire Order and Law, Unbalance Throne of Thorns, conspire Privilege, Maleficence

March, march to war March to battlefields A bloody carnage to quench our thirst Through violence We only exist To Steel, our soul is cursed Make the ground shake Under our spurs Turn the skies black With our banners Let’s resonate Sparkle of our spears and iron of our swords Armed, We move, Blackened Blessed, By the, Wizard No empathy towards the enemy Slice their guts With our shaperned blades No affinty with the opponent Viciousness incarnate Our cruelty Is unparalleled Our brutality Has no equal Never relinquished Never exhausted Our strength is endless Armed, We move, Blackened Blessed, By the, Wizard White Hand, Great Eye, Guided To, The one, Devoted

Time is immutable Time is impalpable Time is intangible Time does exactly as he pleases He rusts us to nothingness He gnaws us to extinction He nibbles us to our deepest hollowness Until our ashes become our reflection Our body is like a Clock Counting the seconds until doom Our bones are like the hour hand Our colon is like the excapement Our lungs are like the main wheels Our stomach is like the main spring Our liver is like the weights Our heart is like the pendulum Snail, Rack, Click, Fly, lifting piece, Hammer spring, Clutch, pin wheel, Cogs, Gears & Clockworks The countdown of your life, has started Dust, bones, & memories will be your last and only ruins Hourglasses are emptied by The scythe of omens Put a single grain of sand, in the machinery And your entity is immersed in a hellish Chaos The tick tock of your watch Resonates in these walls The bell is ready to be rung Your ribs are ready to be wrung The crunch of corpses scrolls Like the seconds of a last moment The great Deathclock tolls And his call is irreversible The enigma of persistance Is unresolvable After a whole life of rewinding you end up becoming exhaustible Cogs, Gears & Clockworks The countdown of your life, has started Dust, bones, & memories will be your last and only ruins Hourglasses are emptied by The scythe of omens I am deconstruted The circle is broken Perpetual is offered to me But i am done Swept Erased Dismantled Eradicated

Remaining silent, unfathomable Growing giant, archaic fable Both a source and a bottomless well For some a leak, for others a cell Can’t see eternal lies Can’t hear, lunar cries The surface reflects the stars Like the celestial veil of the cosmos Like the deities of the unknown’s thousand eyes They descend from their vacant vault From the deepest of abysses And the kingdom of spume and salt As inexplicable almighties Don’t try to say the ineffable or you’ll have to face our immeasurable greatness and like a call from beyond, it will drive you to madness and so your insight will increase, and you’ll be able to behold our loneliness Face the Phantasm Flow Space is open right now Never will you tell The things you saw Your last farewell Last tomorrow The surface reflects the stars Like the celestial veil of the cosmos Like the deities of the unknown’s thousand eyes They descend from their vacant vault From the deepest of abysses And the kingdom of spume and salt As inexplicable almighties

Cathedral 16:16
Recalled from the grave To link the fire The sorcerer has none of it His vision comes from waters Human flesh, his dinner His growing power The clergymen join him To this abyssal banquet of limbs From the deep He dreamed of a profane flame A deep waters’ arrival Men’s souls reaped The ecclesiastic spread the word from their profound bibles Frozen throne The self-proclaimed pontiff keeps the gates Of the frosted city Go back home The coffin hides the ancient doll But deacons are watching Old holy writings were twisted Cold sacred prayers now coded Captured children, Caught in lousy cells Waiting to be served, Ringing the bells Snatched tongues And spilled warm entrails Will be trophies or dishes, To the fattened bishops A monument erected to the glory of His unparalleled appetite A black marble house Surrounded by imposing towers Red torn draperies And bloodstained tiles The ground is littered with the remains Of those who were devoured Puking putrid pillars Spilling their nauseating flow Obscuring Chandeliers Parasite candlelight A monolith built to the profane Of his impious visions The main altar sinks into the ground, Because of this blasphemous place Cold massive columns And threatening vaults Keep this horrid building standing This church of nightmarish faith This abyssal cathedral Full of creeping wraiths No lights pierce stained glasses Let’s begin the masses Forced by our inner rage Only slaughter will be our heritage Obsessed by the power of our place A feeling of betrayal will remain on our face Driven by the desire to overcome Our march will be unstoppable Living by our ephemeral eternity Death will be the end of the journey Overwhelmed by the immensity of the emptiness Even the ocean can not fill us with its loneliness Blinded by that to which we dedicate our faith Maybe will we commit countless sins Manipulated by our deepest fantasies These always end up turning into nightmares
